• Tarde Silenciosa

                en este aislamiento espeluznante,

                            miro atrás el pasado que compartimos,

                                        tu ausencia es el azote de mi castigo.

    En mis brazos queda el escozor de tu silueta,

                y en mis oídos el trueno silencioso de tu voz;

                            vuelvo a la colina, deseando la luz del sol,

                                        y aquellas palabras que ambos repetimos.

  • Poetry

    So, I’ve got a whole book of poetry finished, as I find a publisher for it I was thinking I could upload the poems here, with my 35mm photos, as I’ve been doing lately.

  • The Sixth Volume of Evil

    Finally here, the Sixth Volume of Evil, a really intimate album about my most recent and painful loss.

    However, this album has become a burden on itself, I am tired of it, both from a musical standpoint and a personal perspective, I need to move on, so I kept it brief, besides, I want to resume work on «黑度», that is my priority, and is a more innovative album for me, this was only a way to cope with the pain I’m feeling, but with it, I hope to close the cycle to continue with my inner work, and on the journey of self-developement, away from the slavery I so deeply feel.

  • Desperdicio

    A 35mm photo for the accolade

    So, I recently entered an International Poetry Contest, the 2nd edition of the «Natalio Valbuena Parra» international Poetry Contest, held by the  National and International Poetry Academy, Site Tlapa.

    Long story short, I won one of the five honourable mentions of the contest, with an edited version of the lyrics of «Waste», from my album «Threnody of Wind»

    Threnody of Wind by IMPERATOR

    Here is the poem:

    Fútil es mi deseo, mi penitencia;
    mis pasos se acortan, mi ser se asfixia,
    las arenas han cesado su caminar, me observan
    desde aquel lago de fuego y cristal.

    Aquellos círculos de sombras
    de la orquídea de fuego y sangre
    los he andado con gélido temple,
    y todos los senderos a ella llevan.

    “Ex nihilo nihil fit”, claman los vacuos cielos;
    no hay ímpetu que sobreviva al tiempo,
    no hay emoción que contra este resista;
    desmembrada yace la obra en el camposanto.

    Divino calor que de mis manos escapas,
    exhalación de fuego que se extingue,
    luz podrida que en las tinieblas muere
    y del alma renace para volver a morir.

    De esperma he pintado mi gran obra,
    so castigo de Dios ha muerto el legado,
    condenado a la tierra y la miseria,
    de este campo no nacerán crisantemos.

    Y si mi carga he llevado a la cima
    fue para llenar mi corazón,
    bien sé que volverá al fondo,
    y a levantarla de nuevo estoy condenado.

    Pero yo sé bien de dónde nace la tristeza,
    y sé bien que su sombra es ineludible;
    pero el momento nunca llega, como llegó el fin,
    pues la roca siempre vuelve a su lugar.

    Stay in touch, there is more poetry to be published in other media and more contests.

    And more coming from Imperator…

  • First completed track for «VI»

    So, I finally completed a track for the upcoming «VI»

    there are more tracks in the days to come.

  • A poem

    As you may know, I’ve been working on some poetry lately, and by poetry, I mean some edited versions of my lyrics, as well as some new writings that have come out of my psychiatric treatment.

    Today I have a poem for you, one I’ve sent to a literature magazine, I hope it gets published.

    Al Alba:

    By Ribay Hernández

    Al alba despunta el fuego maldito,
     ojos que observan la aullante oscuridad,
      y desgarran con su mirada la piel de la esperanza,
       poseídos por el caos impávido, desafiante.

    Su flauta seduce mi alma perdida,
     y de su mano me conduce por las sombras.
      Aire infecto llena los pulmones calcinados;
       en esta eterna caída al vacío ignoto.

    Cardos nacen de su lecho vacío,
     y asfixian con sus espinas la garganta sollozante,
      voces pretéritas invaden el aire infecto,
       de su perfume pestilente a camposanto.

    Entre mis manos su carne se descompone,
     y de sus huesos corruptos nacen gusanos de carroña,
      todos con su rostro furibundo, inconmovible,
       todos susurrando sobre mi piel su despedida.

    Mandíbulas desvencijadas adornan este altar,
    de manos trémulas y miradas fugitivas,
    de esta tierra el fruto lentamente se pudre,
    y sus árboles irresolutos, estáticos perecerán.

    A este mausoleo mi alma pertenece,
    aunque el anhelo volar anhele,
    al estupor del mediodía, languidece la voluntad,
    se tiñe de carne quemada y velas derretidas.

    Y al alba la esperanza muere,
     azotada por el mangual del porvenir miserable,
      y en estos ojos esclavizados nace la tristeza,
       infinita, como el peso de mi yugo.

  • Another photo

    Shot this on 35mm, I posted this on instagram with this poem by Hölderlin:

    An die Parzen

    «Nur Einen Sommer gönnt, ihr Gewaltigen!
        Und einen Herbst zu reifem Gesange mir,
          Daß williger mein Herz, vom süßen
            Spiele gesättiget, dann mir sterbe.

    Die Seele, der im Leben ihr göttlich Recht
        Nicht ward, sie ruht auch drunten im Orkus nicht;
          Doch ist mir einst das Heilige, das am
            Herzen mir liegt, das Gedicht, gelungen,

    Willkommen dann, o Stille der Schattenwelt!
        Zufrieden bin ich, wenn auch mein Saitenspiel
          Mich nicht hinab geleitet; Einmal
            Lebt ich, wie Götter und mehr bedarfs nicht.»

  • Update on «VI»

    ~ Cover art for «VI»

    My last album, «奴隶制度没有远去 是一个生后黑暗里», marked the beginning of a series that will have other 4 albums on it, is a personal series heavily influenced by my own esoteric journey, and the results achieved.

    奴隶制度没有远去 是一个生后黑暗里 by IMPERATOR

    However, recent life events have for now suspended the making of «黑度», and have instead lead me into the making of The Sixth Volume of Evil.

    As you may know, the Volumes of Evil is a series of albums delving deep into my own personal suffering, and while that is a common theme through my music, the Volumes of Evil are solely focused on that very aspect, leaving outside for the most part any other topics, and having a common theme per Volume, and focusing more on a DSBM/Shoegaze aesthetic.

    With that said, this Sixth Volume will revolve around a very painful loss for me, and a very recent one, while taking a stylistic approach more akin to the obscure «Nisz’or karr Naguum»

    Nisz'or karr Naguum by IMPERATOR

    I still don’t know how long this album will be, or how long is it going to take for release, but it has a deadline set for may 21, so it must be already be done before that day.

    So, I wanted to take a moment to show you an uncomplete track, because what is better than uncompleted tracks to create interest?

    There is still a lot of work to be done, as I’m focusing now on the bass and drums, but is coming swiftly.

    Stay tuned.

  • Editing a book

    Imperator is an old project, is eleven years old now, and a lot of lyrics have been written, some are good, some others not so much.

    But all in all, there is enough lyrical content to write a book with it, and it is precisely what I’m doing, as of now I am working with an editor to translate all this lyrics into proper poetry and release them as a book.

    Some have needed more work than others, but overall they make good enough poems for this, a good way to extend my legacy, I guess.

    All of it will be released on spanish, though, so everything has been translated, good thing I’m familiar with the source material.

    I still don’t have a date for «84 Scars» to be printed and released to the public, but I’ll let you know.
